I believe Derek, Keith and Shelby all got to snorkel for the first time ever. There actually was a surprising amount of wildlife down there. I got to hear Shelby's squeal pierce the water when she touched a sea cucumber. Other highlights included kayaking, a delicious meal, giant pineapple drinks, scary back of truck ride over bumpy roads to the busier side of the island, and learning that Derek and Keith still wrestle and play grab-ass at their ages. Inspiring.
Also Derek hates Tony Gonzalez for some reason but still considers himself a Chiefs fan. I have to conclude this has something to do with living in Asia for too long. Derek obviously needs a tour in the midwest to correct this severe off-track thinking. Who knows what other parts of his brain could be affected?
