Chaco Canyon -- Chaco Canyon was a gigantic complex of huge pueblo complexes. Each adobe complex contained from 100-800 or more rooms. They were all situtation down the canyon in a line of sight with the nearest neighbor on each side - probably for communication. This site was the center of a trade network extending hundreds of miles in all directions. The whole complex was abandoned about 1300 when they moved on in search of greener pastures.
