We got to the Algodones Dunes right about sunset in a fairly ugly sandstorm. I snapped a bunch of pics in a rush because I was scared of getting sand in my new camera. But a few of them turned out pretty well. I think the Dunes at sunset are just extremely photogenic. The sandstorm was also nice enough to die down somewhat.
